Happy three days after Valentine's Day!!!

LOL!! Okay so it's been awhile since I've check in..I know...I'm sorry. But when you hear why you'll be happy!! I have dove head first into my next release (And no I'm not telling the title yet...) But I can give you a hint: What happens when your past comes back to haunt you and you don't even realize it? Well Dr. Teresa McCall is about to find out..... That's all you're getting!! LOL! But just know that you will be blown away with this one. I have also been working, finally was blessed with a job I can do from home, so I am officially June Cleaver, LOL! But it's cool, I love being home for my family, cooking, cleaning, cleaning and cleaning. My kids have to be the MESSY kids I've ever met. Okay let me catch you up real quick then I gotta go:

1. Got rid of dog.. to much maintenance
2. Bought 5 fish, made six, one died, down to five
3. All That Glitters is selling like hotcakes! Get your copy if you don't have it already
4. Wasted $15.00 at Kinkos but I'm not telling you why...
5. Started Weight Watchers with a friend, but it seems I'm the only one following it..hmmmmm
6. Totally negated my effort on Weight Watchers this week with what I just had for dinner! LOL!

Just checking in...

Hey everyone! Just checking in. I know it's been a while, sorry... LOL! Nothing much going on in my neck of the woods. Still working on my next novel. I think this is going to be my best one yet!! If you liked ALL THAT GLITTERS you're gonna love this one.

I started working out as well. I am going on a huge tour this Summer/Fall as part of the Diva's of Literature so you know I gotta keep it sexy! LOL! It's hard though. I have one aerobics DVD that is cool, but tomorrow is the devil himself: Billy Blanks! (Insert horrified scream...) But I am doing everythign I can to get this weight off. I have dropped my caloric intake to like 1200 calories aday. I know that's like crazy...borderline anorexia but y'all just don't understand. I gotta get some of this junk out of my trunk. LOL!! Well I'm off...but please EVERYONE go out and vote tomorrow. It's very important. This election is going to change our country forever. No matter who wins, this race is groundbreaking so make sure you are apart of it. That way you'll have something to tell your grandkids. If not...then you'll be in an old folks home with no stories to tell, so people will think you're boring and not talk to you.. LOL!

Hey what's up everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was quiet and uneventful other than the snow that we got! Yes people...it snowed in Atlanta. And a lot of it too! LOL! My kids were in awe. My daughter had never seen snow before, other than on TV, so she wanted to go outside and play as well as taste it. ::eye roll:: I grew up in PA so it was no big deal to me, but it was a pain trying to navigate through it.

Other than that I have been hard at work on my next novel....well maybe not hard at work but I am working on it (looking around to make sure my publisher isn't reading this...). I hope to have it all polished up soon.

I also want to thank everyone for the awesome feedback I am getting from my novel ALL THAT GLITTERS. I really appreciate your support and encouraging words. I just hope that my next novel will show my growth as a writer and wow you all as much as this one has.

With that said....I have yet another signing! :-)

Book Signing and Happy New Year!!

Hey everyone! Happy New year! I hope that this year brings you everything your heart desires. I have been busy working on my next novel as well as still promoting All That Glitters. I have gotten some really great reviews so far on Amazon (thanks everyone!) I did find out today that I didn't make the ballot for the NAACP Image Award for Debut Author. It's cool though. It was nice to even be considered. (My therapist told me to say that! LOL!) Just kidding. Of course it would've been hella cool to go to Los Angeles and rub elbows with the elite of the elite, but hey..it just wasn't for me. :-)

Well if any of you are in Georgia, specifically in the Southlake Mall area, I would love to meet you! I have a signing there this Friday 1/11 from 4 to 7. Please stop by if you can! I'll be at the Nubian Bookstore inside Southlake Mall, Morrow GA.

Hey everyone!

I hope your December is getting off to an awesome start!! So far I have been really busy, mainly trying not to think about this Image Award nod. LOL! I have been working hard on my next novel Between Friends. I am very excited about the direction this one is going and I look forward to posting a little sample for you all soon. I am still waist deep in promotion for All That Glitters, which is turning out to be both fun and a learning experience. I am very excited about my upcoming tour schedule, I look forward to meeting all of you that can make it! My goal is to try to get out there on the west coast sometime next spring. I've never been out west before, so that is something that I would love!! Can I stay at your house? LOL! Oh, I managed to finish NANO with flying colors! Imagine that! LOL! I will let that little gem cool its heels until I am finished with with Between Friends. If nothing else the freeform writing allowed me to get out some great ideas. Well, I'm off. It's dinner time in the Sparks' household, so it's time for me to change hats from author to chef.
